A Model For Measuring Teacher Ability, School Innovation Climate And Innovative Work Behavior: A Confirmatory Factor Analysis Approach

Abstract

Kertas ini melaporkan prosedur pengesahan model pengukuran bagi konstruk pengupayaan guru, iklim inovasi sekolah dan tingkah laku kerja inovatif. Seramai 376 guru daripada 12 buah sekolah rendah dan menengah di Kuala Terengganu dipilih sebagai responden dengan menggunakan kaedah pensampelan rawak berlapis. Data kuantitatif dikumpul melalui soal selidik tadbiran sendiri berdasarkan skala tujuh mata yang mengandungi 62 soalan. Analisis faktor pengesahan (AFP) dilaksanakan menggunakan perisian AMOS versi 24. Hasil analisis menunjukkan model pengukuran pengupayaan guru, iklim inovasi sekolah dan tingkah laku kerja inovatif yang telah dimodifikasi adalah sepadan dan boleh diterima berdasarkan indeks yang disarankan. Selain itu, AFP gabungan ketiga-tiga konstruk juga telah mencapai tahap kesepadanan model yang baik dengan nilai RMSEA = 0.049 (< 0.08), CFI = 0.945 (> 0.90), TLI = 0.938 (> 0.90) dan χ2 / df = 1.890 (< 3.0). Kesimpulannya, model pengukuran yang dibangunkan mampu mengukur ketiga-tiga konstruk dan boleh digunakan untuk kajian selanjutnya.
